FISH AND CHIPS
Hi everyone!
First of all I would express my gratitude to all the families that took the kids to school so early on Monday morning. It is not always easy the organization when we change our schedules...
Secondly I congratulate our contestants (Ona, Axel and Carla), who did a really good job in front of the cameras.
And finally thanks to the attitude of all our pupils in the TV studio, that was excellent.

Primerament voldria agraïr a totes les famílies de l'escola que van dur els nens tant d'hora dilluns al matí. No sempre és senzilla l'organització familiar quan canviem d'hàbits...
Felicito als nostres participants (l'Ona, l'Axel i la Carla), que ho van fer molt bé davant de les càmeres.

FISH & CHIPS
Welcome again!
I would like to apologize for updating our blog so late. But our schedule sometimes makes it difficult...
Last year some pupils of 6th grade suggested that we could participate in an English program of Club Super3. We tried but we weren't successful because it was too late. Some weeks ago the people of Fish & Chips, the program, contact our school. After doing a casting this Tuesday we knew we have been chosen!
For this reason I would really congratulate our students of 6th grade, who made a brilliant casting!
So next Monday 25th of November the pupils of 5th and 6th grade will go to Barcelona to record the contest. It is very important to bring signed the permission of the parents, otherwise they won't go.
Today, 8th of November, the children of SC will take it home.

El curs passat uns alumnes de 6è van proposar participar en un programa del Club Super3 anomenat Fish & Chips. Ho vam intentar, però va ser massa tard. Fa unes setmanes ens van trucat els organitzadors . Després de passar un càsting finalment aquest dimarts hem tingut resposta! Per això felicito als alumnes de 6è, que van fer tots un càsting fantàstic!
Així doncs, el dilluns 25 de novembre anirem tot el Cicle Superior a Barcelona a gravar el programa. És molt important portar signada l'autorització amb el consentiment dels pares, de no ser així no hi podrien anar.
Avui, dia 8 de novembre, els nens i nenes de CS us la faran arribar.

THEATRE PLAY
Hi everyone!
Next Wednesday 13th of February our pupils of superior cycle go to the theatre. Look Out Theatre Company will play Passion for Fashion. It is a play written by Serena Worsdell.
Based on the Emperor’s New Clothes, students will be introduced into a debate on the influence and power of fashion. The play also explores the importance of respecting other people, their opinions and values. Students will have the opportunity to take part in catwalk parade and to bid in an auction of Michael Jackson’s clothes.
This week the pupils of 5th and 6th grade are working on the new vocabulary and doing exercices to understand the performance. In order to do it easier and more practical students will work with current vocabulary. They will do measuring up activities within groups, so they will have to bring a tape measure to class.Through descriptions, celebrities outfits, clothes designs... pupils will be ready to watch the performance next week.
I hope everyone enjoys and behaves very well in the theatre.
