GIVING DIRECTIONS

The last week before Christmas we played with the Beebots for a while. The kids gave directions asking questions and giving orders to the Beebots.

"How can I get to the butchers? " "Go straight on and turn right at the second street" A funny and simple way to review some contents they already worked with and learned  two years ago... 😃

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

The pupils of Superior Cycle are going to watch a theatre play at Valldemia School in Mataró tomorrow morning. We will have breakfast early at school and we will leave at 10.15 by coach. 

At lunch time we will come back to school.

Els alumnes de cicle superior demà al matí aniran al teatre de l'escola Valldemia a Mataró en autocar. Esmorzaran aviat a l'escola i marxarem a les 10.15 en autocar. Tornarem a l'escola al migdia.

FISH & CHIPS - 4 de febrer

Next Thursday 4th of February we are going to participate in Fish & Chips, an English game show of Super3 Channel.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the families that are going to take the kids to school so early tomorrow morning.We are leaving at 6:30 a.m. to be in the TV studio, in Barcelona, at 7:15. Children must bring their breakfast, as usually. We are coming back in the midday, at lunch time.

Children must wear trainers. Trademarks in  jumpers or t-shirt are forbbiden by the organization staff of Fish and Chips.

From the school we think is a great opportunity to experience English in a funny way. And we really wish all children enjoy the trip.

El dijous 4 de febrer participarem al Fish & Chips, un programa que s'emet al Canal Super3.

Els agraeixo l'esforç de portar els nens i nenes tan d'hora al matí. Sortirem cap a Barcelona a les 6.30 per tal d'arribar a les 7.15 a l'estudi de gravació.Els nens i nenes hauran de dur esmorzar. Tornarem al migdia, a l'hora de dinar.

Els nens i nens han de dur bambes.L'equip del programa prohibeix dur samarretes i jerseis amb logos de marques.

Des de l'escola pensem que és una oportunitat maca d'experimentar l'anglès de manera lúdica.

I desitgem de tot cor que tots gaudeixin d'allò més!

Welcome back to school! We hope you had good holidays and you had a great spare time with your kids.
We are happy to start a brand new year full of enthusiams and energy. A year that's going to be full of new knowdledges, activities and ressources to share with our beloved pupils.

NATIVE SPEAKER READING

This year in 6th grade we are reading Charlie and the chocolate factory.

Yesterday one mum of the school, who is from England, came to read in 6th grade. 

The children could ask her few questions and could experience a face to face native listening. 

It was a pleasure to have her in class. The children were amazed!

PREPARING ROBIN HOOD

Today we played card games. We had to classify into different word categories, then we had to make as many correct sentences as possible. 

In these photos the kids are working with activities ralated to the theatre we are going to watch next week. 

INVISIBLE FRIEND IDEAS

Soon at school children will make a present to someone in the class. Felt is a great material to use, non expensive and easy to work with. You can cut it, sew it, fold, stick it or just decorate it.

Here you have nice ideas you can make to decorate your home or to give as a present.

This year the school decided to work on this great writer all the children love. From 3rd to 6th grade teachers are going to read different books of Dahl. In 4th and 5th grade I am reading The Magic Finger. In 6th grade I am reading Charlie and the chocolate factory.

Reading for pleasure is a great moment for our children. It is a magical time through which we travel to a fantasy world. With these reading I try  to encourage our kids reading  and enjoying the English literature!
